Viking Scalextric Club hosts and visits other club for inter-club competitions. These events mostoften happen in the UK but visits to European mainland clubs also occurs.
Below are some images of our visits to other events. Further elow are a series of galleries of images of the four venues as our club has existed at since 1997 when it was first formed.

2022 The new Policar (SlotIt) track system was introduced. The new track is roughly the same shape as the out-going Scalextric Sport track. The Policar track has benefits over the Scalextric track on just about every facet; flat surface, excellent grip, controllable slides when racing, physical and electrical connections, anti-short-circuit in-slot plastic channel, stainless steel rails and more.

To start the 2019 Season we changed the track shape after 11 years. The ‘Bus Stop’ chicane meandered very close to the stair-well and though we hadn’t had any accidents it was only a matter of time before a car (or worse!) tumbled out of control to the ground floor. Time for a change!
The answer was very simple. The whole section of the Bust Stop area was moved away frm the staircase as a complete piece. The straights from one end of the section were moved to the other end. The result was a more smoothly flowing track and more space.
